I first learned of Gypsy Jazz music when I watched Sweet and Lowdown, a Woody Allen film about a fictional Gypsy Jazz guitar player. Not only did Sean Penn do a great job in this role, but the soundtrack was phenomenal. I’ve been a fan of the genre ever since.
Recently, I learned that the music does something to my brain and my fingers. My fingers fly across the keyboard, I’m super focused, and I feel more creative. Now, simply listening to it gets me in the mood to write.
